Let us rejoice in the Lord's salvation today! He is mighty and has swallowed up death forever! We praise You for Your birth, Your death, Your resurrection. We look forward to the day when You will wipe away all our tears and remove our disgrace. You have covered us by Your blood.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I give you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of theme when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:4-9
*Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God who loves us and passionately pursues us, the God who creates and transforms. Pray that the Lord would be honored and glorified in our homes and in our households and families. Pray that the Lord would enable us to be a people who love Him with all our heart, and all of our souls, and all of our strength, and that that great love for Him, and that His great love for us would be reflected in our relationships with others, especially our relationships with our families.
*Pray that the Lord would enable parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles, those family members who influence the children of Westchester Chapel, to be diligent teachers and doers of the Word when they are in their homes, when they walk by the way, when they lie down, and when they rise up. Ask that the Lord would give parents and grandparents wisdom as they communicate truths of the Gospel, as they connect children to the Lord, and as they teach them by example what it means to follow Jesus.
